Billabong's 2nd annual Design for Humanity event took place at the Avalon in Hollywood last night and was far more than cocktails and donations. The event amused the senses with fusing art, fashion and music while creating awareness to the next generation about change. Ticket holders got a bang for their buck ($35 a ticket) by being entertained with a fashion show exhibiting over 40 bikini looks by designers such as Cory Kennedy, Lisa Kline and Charlotte Ronson, an art show by skateboarding and surfing's best where pieces moved directly to ebay for auctioning, and a performance from the modern rockers MGMT and DJ Steve Aoki. Over 900 people were in audience and all ticket proceeds went directly to the
Surfrider Foundation to help project our beaches and oceans. For more information on the event and the art sold at the show visit
